Description

Blood:Water has developed an internship program to mentor and equip young leaders in their vocation while addressing the great need for assistance in the daily operations of the organization. Blood:Water treats interns as team members and as part of the “Blood:Water family.” This level of trust requires that we use great discretion in the application and interview process. Please take this application process seriously and know that the staff of Blood:Water look forward to getting to know you and accept interns with great intentionality.

An applicant can apply for either the 9-month internship term (August through May) or a summer internship (12-15 weeks). Specific beginning and end dates will be determined by the availability of the candidate. Each internship period requires 15-20 hours per week at our office in Nashville, TN, and includes a monthly stipend.

There are two focus areas of our internships: Marketing and Development (Fundraising). Please read the brief descriptions below.

DEVELOPMENT INTERN

Blood:Water is looking for a creative, organized individual to join our development team as an intern. Our development team is responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with donors. Potential applicants must be prepared to manage both daily tasks as well as larger scale projects throughout the intern term.

Responsibilities will include:

MARKETING INTERN (FULL/CLOSED)

Blood:Water is looking for a creative, self-motivated individual to join the marketing team as an intern. The marketing team is responsible for communicating with donors and communities via campaigns, social media, web content, video, and design. Potential applicants must be prepared to manage both daily tasks as well as larger scale projects throughout the intern term. Graphic design experience is required.
